This two-ingredient “nice” cream couldn’t be easier to make, and it’s one of my favorites to have on hand when I’m in need of a cool and energizing treat. ⁠
⁠
INGREDIENTS:⁠
🍌3 large ripe bananas, peeled, sliced into 1-inch pieces, and frozen⁠
🍵1 tablespoon culinary matcha green tea powder⁠
⁠
DIRECTIONS: Remove the sliced frozen bananas from the freezer and let stand for 3 min to slightly thaw. Place the bananas and matcha powder in the bowl of a food processor and process until the texture resembles creamy soft serve ice cream, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed. Pulse until blended well. Serve immediately or place in the freezer to firm up slightly for 10 minutes. The soft serve keeps well in the freezer for up to 1 month.⁠
⁠
BONUS: Add in cocoa nibs, almond butter or shelled hemp seeds for an extra punch of taste & nutrition! ⁠
